This course is designed to bring presenters up to speed with the skills required for being a radio presenter. In this course you will learn to apply voice technique to radio formats and conduct radio interviews.
After attending the course, the learner will have a better idea of the next step towards presenting on radio.
The trainer, Damon Kalvari, has 21 years of experience of working in radio in South Africa, beginning at 702 and working at Highveld 94.7, 5FM and most recently Cliff Central. He has trained radio students at Boston Media House College.
After completion of the one day course, the delegate should understand the:
- Voice presentation and microphone technique
- Interviewing styles and technique
- Writing links and cues for inserts spots and promos
- Presenting and producing simple features
- Basic operation of studio equipment

The course is aimed at all age groups, and is suitable for people interested to find out more about radio in South Africa.
No previous experience in the radio industry is necessary.
